A charged up group of Bon Homme fans and players were ready to avenge their two losses the Pheasants had handed to them in their two previous meetings.
Bon Homme jumed to a 6-0 lead to start the game and held on to a three point halftime advantage.
The Pheasants looked to have control of the game in the second half as they fought to obtainea 25-19 lead late in the game, but the Cavaliers stormed back to lead 29-25. Cody Bussel nailed two clutch free throws with less than a minute to play, then after a Parker foul and one converted free throw by Bon Homme, Parker found themselves with one last chance with 6.9 seconds to play.
Bussell took the ball the length of the court and put up a great three point shot, but it bounced off the rim sending the Cavalier fans and player into a frenzy.
A shot at redemption for the Pheasants comes on March 15, when the Cavaliers come to Parker to take part in the Parker Quadrangular. The Pheasants will be eager to turn the tables on their home court where they have never been beaten.
