Kelowna Cubs edged North Shore Twins 11-10 to advance to the semifinal game Saturday in the Best of the West Midget Premier Tournament in Penticton. The Cubs jumped out to a 10-5 lead after four, but North Shore roared back with five in the top of the fifth to tie the game. Cody Valgardson slammed the door in the top of the sixth, striking out two to record the save for James Doll, who got the win. Tristan Collins wielded a hot bat for the Cubs with a single and a triple, scoring three runs and four rbi's. Brett Sanguin and Spencer Kilpatrick also had two hits for the Cubs, and Jordan Cheveldave knocked in two rbi's.
