Twins took full advantage of some shakey defense from the Cubs to ring up 7 runs (6 un-earned) to take the 1st game of the Sunday Triple Header at Parkgate and bring their season record to .500. On the other hand, the North Shore defense was able to hold off a 10 hit attack from the Cubs which included multi hit days from Brock Stewart, Ryan Franz, Adam Carroll and Brendon Peron. Alex Wishnicki took his second win of the season giving up 4 earned runs, walking 2 and striking out 8. Thirdbaseman Grant Malm went 3 for 4 in the morning game including 2 doubles with a run scored and 2 RBIs. Jordan Olar added a double and Mark Sleeman legged out a triple
