Kelowna Cubs stayed with a strong Langley club for six innings, but gave up eight runs in the seventh to lose 12-4 in the top half of Sunday's doubleheader at Elks' Stadium. Justin Dyck allowed only two Cub hits, a double by Spencer Kilpatrick and a single by Jordan Cheveldave, and struck out nine Kelowna batters in six innings for the win. Cody Valgardson pitched a strong six innings for the Cubs, but was sunk by six infield errors in taking the loss on the mound, despite giving up only one earned run.
