| Game Notes: Kelowna Cubs scored big in two innings to beat the Penticton Thunder in an exhibition game in Penticton Saturday. A home run by Ryan Franz and doubles by Bryce Wilkie and Calvin Berger were the big hits for the Cubs. Brett Sanguin, Jamie Newmarch and Wilkie had a pair of hits each, while Franz and Wilkie had three rbi's each. Cody Valgardson threw three innings of shutout relief to notch the victory for Kelowna. | ||||||||||
