Aug 2nd, 2008 - Dallas Tracy Paces 22 run attack of Convicts Dalls Tracy lead the Gamblers offense on Saturday afternoon coming up a triple shy of the true cycle, instead he went 3 for 3 with his first HR of the season a HBP, BB, and 5 RBIs on the day. Also hitting his first homerun of the season was Jason Winters, who added 4 RBIs along with his HR. In total the Gamblers scored 22 runs on 17 hits. On the mound for the Gamblers, who used a total of 6 pitchers in the 5 inning game, Scott Berke (1-0) recorded his first win of the Season. When Manager Keoki Wright was asked about his use of so many pitchers, he replied, "We have a summer tourney coming up in a few weeks and I need to see who I have. I saw some good things out there and some ugly, but playing 3 nine inning games in a weekend will require a lot of quality innings and that is not going to come from just 1 or 2 arms." When asked about who he thinks has the best stuff outside his regular pitching staff, he responded, "I'm thinking Dallas (Tracy) has the best potential for possible spot starts, unfortunatley didn't get him on the bump today but I have seen what he has in past game and like what I saw".
