| Game Notes: After starting off 2-0 in the tournament the Thunder entered game 6 of the week sporting a 4-1 record. Woodbury was up for the challenge as this game was the definition of a pitchers duel. Jake "McLovin" Bechstein easily threw his best game of the Summer season. He was on the mound for 6 whole innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, but striking out 9 and only surrendering 1 walk. Coming from a fellow pitcher, this performance was very fun to watch. "Lego Land" Muraca and "WOLFMAN!" Kukowski collected the 2 hits for Eastview. On the defensive side, Andy "Coo Coo" Glockner had himself a stellar day by making a diving catch and doubling off a guy on 2nd base after making a running catch. | ||||||||||
