Eagan improved its league record to 6-1 by rallying for three in the final frame to beat the Thunder (4-3, 3-3) at Goat Hill Tuesday night, 7-6. The win allowed the Patriots to keep pace with division leader Burnsville. Righthander Spencer Pratt went the first four innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits. He walked two and struck out three. Reliever James Lenz (0-1) took the loss, yielding two earned runs on just one hit, striking out the side in the fifth. He walked three and hit two batters in 2 1/3 innings of work. Joe Radermacher (21B,2B) and Casey Jacobson (21B,4SB,RBI) led the offense, with Adam Edwinson and Dan Coyle (3B) each adding an RBI. The defense committed four errors which led to three unearned runs for the Patriots. The Thunder returns to action Wednesday with a road game vs. Burnsville. The Pythons took the first meeting between the clubs, 5-3. Righthander Joe Radermacher will take the hill.
