| Game Notes: The Thunder stormed back to win an extra-inning thriller, 4-3. The Thunder took a two run lead into the seventh behind starter Derek Jacobson, who pitched a gem. Jacobson yielded just two runs on four hits with five strikeouts. After Burnsville tied the game in the seventh, reliever Beau Jacobson came on to quiet the rally. He pitched 2 2/3 innings and picked up the win, his first of the season. Burnsville took the lead in the top of the ninth, tallying an unearned run to go up 3-2. In the bottom half of the ninth, Alex Johnson reached on a one-out pinch single. Brad "B-Train" Landgrebe was hit by a pitch, and Derek Jacobson followed with an RBI single with Johnson sliding home to tie the game at 3. Ryan "Big Ticket" Stepan singled to load the bases, bringing Josh "Future" Retka to the plate. Landgrebe then scored on a wild pitch, securing the win and evening the Thunder record at 3-3. Jared Johnson and Retka each had an RBI; Landgrebe reached three times and scored twice, and Derek Jacobson added two hits and a sacrifice. | ||||||||||||
