| Game Notes: The Thunder (5-3, 3-3) won its third straight game overall and second straight in the Richfield Tourney by beating Coon Rapids, 7-5. Starter Jeremy "JJ" McKay (1-0) pitched five strong innings in his season debut on the mound to earn the win. Jake Kruegel picked up his first save of the year with a hitless, scoreless seventh. The Thunder plays Hopkins Sunday morning for a chance to play in the tournament championship game later. Righthander Matt Neutz (0-0, 1.61, 1SV) takes the hill in his first start of the season.
