| Game Notes: The Thunder (15-1, 7-1) extended its club record winning streak to nine with a 7-2 win over Lakeville North. Righthander Nolan "Hollywood" Titchner went the route, scattering six hits and giving up just two runs.He dispatched the Panthers on just 88 pitches and ran his record to 4-0. Titchner did not issue a walk and struck out six. The offense put up a key four-run third to provide Titchner with all the run support he would need on this night. Robbie Sikich had two hits and drove in one, while Lucas Haug, Joel Bertelsen and Peter Zukanoff also knocked in runs. Sam Foy scored twice and swiped a bag and matt Lilledahl continued his season-long streak of production with a single, run scored and a steal. The club returns to action this weekend at the Minnetonka Tournament. Sikich takes the bump in game one against host Minntonka, a perennial power and presently one of the top teams in the MSBR league. | ||||||||||
