Notes:
The Thunder (3-0, 1-0) raced out to an early 6-0 lead and never looked back in blanking divison rival Eagan, 23-0 in five innings. Starter Joey Voss (1-0) went the route, yielding just two hits and facing just 18 Patriot batters. He struck out four and walked three. Eastview pounded out 17 hits on the day, led by Matt Lilledahl and Michael Radermacher with three apiece. Radermacher (4RS) also had a season-high four RBI. Joel Bertelsen, Matt DeCovich (3RS), Sam Foy (2RS), Robbie Sikich (2RS) and Peter Zukanoff (2RS) had two-hit games, with Bertelsen touching home a season-high five times. Brian Rush (3RS) and recent signee Mike Barry (RS) completed the scoring onslaught. The win marked the third straight game in which the club won in fewer than seven innings, a new club record.
