Notes:
The Thunder improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 18-3 win over Richfield in six innings. Rookie righthander Nolan Titchner (1-0) scattered eight hits over five innings to earn his first career win at the SBR. The thunder offense provided all the run support Titchner would need by tallying eight in the first frame. Brian Rush returned to the line-up from injury to go 4-for-4 with two singles, a double and a triple to go along with a walk and three runs scored. Matt DeCovich and Joel Bertelsen each had two hits and knocked in a pair. Micheal Radermacher shook off an illness to pitch a scorelss 6th with two K's while reaching base four times and scoring three. Radermacher, Sam Foy and Bertelsen also turned in web gems on the defensive side behind Titchner. The club returns to action with two games Saturday in Coon Rapids, where they will play a league game against division rival Eagan and a non-league game against host Coon Rapids.
