| Game Notes: The Thunder (14-5) advanced to Sunday's Championship round with a 5-0 victory over defending state champion Apple Valley. Righthander Spencer Pratt (4-0) threw a four-hit complete game gem, requiring just 76 pitches to earn the win. He struck out three and walked one. Rookie Joel Bertelsen (21B) and Joe Radermacher (2B) each drove in two runs; veterans John "Rain Delay" Grotkin (BB) and Mitch "Jeter" Haug (21B,2RS), Ben Wagner (BB) and Casey Jacobson each scored runs for the club. James Lenz turned in a web gem in the sixth, throwing out a Twins' runner on a soft chop with the bases loaded for the final out of the inning. Righthander Daniel Coyle takes the hill in Sunday's Championship game, where the Thunder will seek to make its second straight State Tournament appearance and third in four years.
