RobWest Tournament Our team is participating in the RobWest (pre-season) Tournament, October 20-30th. We are guaranteed four games, with a possible of six. Our first four games are:
Game #1 - Saturday, October 20, 9:30am vs Woodhaven Bruins @ St. James Civic Centre. (Lost 7-2) Game #2 - Sunday, October 21, 12:45pm vs River East White @ Sanford. (Lost 2-1) Game #3 - Sunday, October 21, 7:30pm vs Fort Garry North @ Charles A. Barbour. (Won 3-2) Game #4 - Sunday, October 28, 6:15pm vs MacDonald @ Charles A. Barbour. (Lost 3-2) This tournament gave our team a great opportunity to get ready for the regular season. Our tournament record was 1 and 3, but two of the losses were by a single goal. Christmas Tournament Coach Jerald is looking at the possibility of entering our team in The Christmas Challenge hockey tournament, December 20-29. This will depend on how many families will be home for the holidays and available to play. Grand Forks Tournament Coach Brasko will be receiving information on Tuesday, November 13, regarding a hockey tournament in Grand Forks, January 19-20, 2008. Stay tuned for details.
