April 11, 2007 - Hey there - thanks for visiting the Orange Crushers website!! We decided to start this website to make information more accessible for the parents and for the kids to be able to have fun with it. Since Coach Elena coaches 3 separate teams, we've tried putting all the information for each age group onto the site. Each group has their own schedule, calendar, roster, etc. When you're looking at the different areas, you will need to select the group you want information for. The 5-6 year olds are in Division 1, the 7-9 year olds are in Division 2, and the older kids are in the Competitive league. We're hoping you enjoy what's here, and we're open to any suggestions you might have to make it better. Please let us know what you think. Thanks!!

April 14, 2007 - Well the first game of the season has come and gone!! Everyone did great - the 5-6 year olds (Division 1) looked like they all had a fun time while the parents all tried to get used to the new setup for playing games. In the past, this age group played on a full field; this year, the league decided to have this age group play on a half field with smaller goals and no goalie. See the forum to see my thoughts on this and to post yours as well. The 7-9 year olds (Division 2) came out with a bang!! Check the stats to see who all scored and assisted to help this age group score their first win of the season!!! The Competitive Crushers had a tough opener this year - they played the Las Vegas Premier '96 - an all-girl team that has obviously played and practiced together for a long time. They did a great job though, limiting the other team to only 2 goals - they are going to be great this year!! Next week Coach Elena will be out of town, but the games will go on!! Check the schedules to see where we will be next week - all games next week are at Seastrand Park and the substitute coach will be Elena's brother, James.
