These are the OFFICIAL RULES of mymadden08league:

• 1. BANNED PLAYS-dbl wr pass, hb pass

• 2. D-LINE PINCH: Not allowed on any 3man front. NANO BLITZING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

• 3. 4TH DOWN: You can go for it on 4th down and 2 yards or less past YOUR 35yd line at any time during the game. You can go for it on 4th and anything past your OPPONENTS 40 yard line at any time during the game. If you are losing in the 4th quarter or down by 3 or more scores at any time during the game you may go for it no matter where you are on the field.

• 4. ONSIDE KICKS-There are two scenarios in which you can perform a onside kick:
1)If you are losing in the 4th quarter
2)If you are losing by 22 points or more in the second half.

• 5. MILKING THE CLOCK: Not allowed. Run plays as fast as possible. Just don’t take forever to pick your plays just to be annoying!

• 6. GIMMICK PLAYS: Just don’t run constant streaks or the same play over again. Don’t run back 20 yards with your quarterback and bomb it down field. Vary your play calling!

• 7. DISCONNECTIONS: A. If one of you disconnects just start the game over remembering the score that you had before disconnection, and play out the rest of the time that was left prior to disconnecting. So basically your just finishing the game like you would before it disconnected. This DOES NOT go for disconnecting on purpose!! If you quit, or disconnect purposely, you are out of my league!!!

• 8. Any Play book may be used, you do not have to use the play book of the team you control.

• 9. We will play ALL-Pro ranked games

• 10. We will have 6 playoff teams, 4 division winners and 2 wildcard teams. We will also have a playoff like tournament for the other 10 teams that do not make the playoffs.

• 11. We will play in room in lobby: "MM08L" online to play our games.

• 12. SCHEDULE: Must play all games by Apr. 15th 2008. There are no specific dates and times you have to play games. You do not have to play in specific order. For example you can play week 7, then 14, then 8, then 12...

• 13. ABSOLUTELY NO GLITCHING, NO QUITTING GAMES, PLAY FAIR, FOLLOW RULES 100%!!!!

• 14. On a Punt, Field Goal or extra point attempt, DO NOT go offsides and attempt to block the kick!

• 15. Do Not use offensive players on defense or defensive players on offense

• 16. NO HUDDLE OFFENSE: Allowed but when in use you HAVE TO CHANGE THE PLAY TO SOMETHING DIFFERENT AT THE LINE. You can not run the same play over and over to hit up a weak defensive play call. Changing the play does not mean changing to a hot route. You have to audible. But you can use the original play every third play. *This rule does not apply to the last 2minutes of each half.

17.  ALL LEAGUE MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AIM!

 

• Breaking of any of these rules will result in a severe punishment and/or getting kicked out of the league. There are many people on my waiting list that really want to play. I will not hesitate to take action. CHEATING AND POOR SPORTSMANSHIP WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!! Just play and have fun! Good luck!!:)
