Grant Johnson- Grant will be starting his 4th year at the helm of the Kerkhoven Legion Baseball team this summer. He is a 2006 graduate of KMS High School. Grant was a 3 year starter for the Saints during his career with his best season coming in 06 when he helped the saints to a 16-5 record and a 2nd place finish in section 3A. He has been to the Final Four tournament twice in his Legion baseball career, once as a player and once as a coach. Post 223 went 14-4 in his 2nd year of coaching and reached the Final Four tourney in Montevideo. Grant has compiled a 28-22 record in his 3 years of coaching so far

Nate Schlagel- Nate has been an assistant coach for Post 223 for the last 3 years and has been instrumental in helping with the success of the team. He is a 2007 graduate from KMS and was a pitcher/3rd baseman on KMS's back to back runners up in section 3A. As a sophmore, Nate led the team in home runs with 6 in one season. Nate also had a succesful legion career going to the Final Four tournament once as a player and once as a coach.
