5 years experience as a collegiate baseball coach (Head Coach at Northwestern College, IA for 2 years and an Assistant Coach at the University of Sioux Falls for 3 years).

12 years experience as a high school baseball coach in South Dakota and Minnesota (includes VFW and Legion baseball).

Overall Head Collegiate and High School Baseball Coaching Record = 454-179 (.717%).

Coached 3 players that went on to play professional baseball.

Coached 3 collegiate All-American baseball players.

Coached 17 high school baseball players that signed collegiate baseball National Letters of Intent as high as NCAA Division I.

Coached 29 high school All-State baseball players.

As a head high school baseball coach (includes VFW and Legion), qualified for State Tournament 9 out of 10 years.  Winning 2 State Championships, 2 Runner-Up, 1 – 3^rd place, 1 – 4^th place and 3 Consolation Championships.  In addition, was recognized as the State Coach-of-the-Year twice.

Serves on the Board of Directors for the South Dakota High School Baseball Association and the South Dakota VFW Baseball Program.
