Dear Community Sponsor,

 

The Purple Sox softball team consists of 13 girls from the local community that will be participating at the eight year old level in 2009.   As teams enter this age group, they are required to provide their own uniforms as well as having added expenses related to participating in tournaments, renting facilities/fields for practice and purchasing team equipment.  As a result, the 8U age level tends to be one of the most expensive years to play youth softball. 

To help the families offset some of the estimated $2,000+ it will cost to participate next year, we are asking for community leaders, like you, to help sponsorship the team.  Your financial support will help assist a team that stresses sportsmanship, skill development, teamwork, and having fun.    

This is a great way to help provide the youth in our community with positive experiences, important life lessons and lasting memories.

We would also like to support you!   Some examples may include placing your logo on our softball shirts, placing information on our team website, integrating your organization name into our team name (i.e. “xyz” Purple Sox), etc.
