TOURNAMENT RULES

 

·        NO SHORTS WITH POCKETS NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!

·         (Undershirt will be similar in color)

·         Warm-up 3 minutes

·           20  minutes halves (RUNNING CLOCK) EXCEPT last two minutes of each half-time

             ALL TEAMS MUST BE AT THE GAME 1 HOUR PRIOR TO GAME TIME, THE GAMES COULD START EARLY. GAME TIME IS FORFEIT TIME.

·         Overtime- 2 minutes first overtime, 1 minute each additional overtime.·        

 ·         Slaughter rule – When a team is behind 20 points or more ANY time during the game the clock will continue to run the rest of the game, unless the team(s) cut the lead to 15 points or less.

·         Freethrows – When the ball hit the rim.

·         Only one Coach will stand except during timeouts.

·         One technical on the Coach or Player he/she will be ask to leave the GYM for the reminder of that game. Two technicals will result in suspension for the remainder of the tournament.

·         TIMEOUTS: (4) FULL per game 

      ONLY 1 time out per overtime period.

·         HOME TEAM: Keep the scorebook (NO CHILDREN)

·         VISITOR TEAM: Keep the clock (NO CHILDREN)

·         BONUS:  1 AND 1 on 10^th foul

       If a team forfeit or do not show up Coaches there will be no make up game. Each team  will be provided a 2 - 0 win. In case of a tie the winner will first be Head to Head and than point spread.

 

BOYS GRADES 7 & 8 WILL PLAY TWO 16 MINUTES HALVES RUNNING

CLOCK EXCEPT THE LAST TWO MINUTES OF EACH HALF.
