House League Cancellation

The members of the Trail Youth Baseball Executive have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 spring house season, as we normally know it. The Executive was hopeful that we might have been able to get a shortened regular season in this year, but with parks still closed, guidelines not yet in place, Castlegar and Nelson cancelling, and no information as to when restrictions would be lifted, we were left with no choice. While we always knew the cancellation of our season was a real possibility, it is still incredibly disappointing to have to make it official. We were excited to include our grade 12s in the league this year and wanted to give them every opportunity to play their last year of baseball, but the latest stumbling block in the return to play process closed that window of opportunity.
If/when the fields are opened and guidelines are in place for our players and coaches to play baseball safely, then TYB will explore options for future opportunities to play in 2020.
Full refunds will be issued to all people who have paid their registration fees. Refunds will be issued back to your credit card. We expect them to take a couple weeks, as it seems it is taking longer than it usually would to process these transactions.
