Blasters beat Rockets

In a Zone 3 matchup, Three Rivers beat the Albany Mid-Valley Rockets 5-2. Jon Bennison was the winning pitcher as he spread 8 hits over 8 innings and only allowed a single run. Both Ricky Jones and Scott Gordan went 3/4 at the plate with Jones adding 2 RBI's. Zach Inskeep added 2 doubles. The Sandblasters finish their series with Mid-Valley tomorrow with a DH at West Albany HS starting at 4 PM. The win tonight places Three Rivers in a tie for 3rd in the Zone 3 standings. The Zone's top 4 teams will earn a berth for post season play.
