Is Indoor Football the average Man
Posted August 22, 2018
The question is whether the arena/indoor game can be considered an average man's sport? its been packaged all wrong from day one.
Today the average man participates from the standpoint of fantasy football whether it be outdoor or any other form, understanding this point offer many opportunities.
One other point is understanding the roots of the sport, while giving notice to Jim Foster credited with founding the sport of indoor football, but just as in the story of the U.S. being founded by a foreigner a version of eightman football was played in Texas high schools located in small communities long before Jim Foster arrived. Areas where there may not have been enough kids to fill out an 11 man roster from 1972-75 before a committee suggested that those smaller communities continue participating as sixman teams which is the form continued today.
Being that the TIFL is a Texas based league our model is built from a baseline of eightman football history within the state, so being open to host games in settings, not ever considered as being a viable alternative.
Our game rules are different, the operating model is totally different we develop talent once that talent has shown itself to be prospect level professional talent in the free combine testing phase.
Game rules also eliminate kickoff's extra point and field goal attempts as a safety measure, data will be tracked as to how many players are tagged for concussion and other injuries, something other leagues aren't conducting.
This allows for the game to played any where, more in line with where the Texas version of eightman football has its background and history..
