After two weeks of play in the SWBL, teams north of the Trans Canada Highway find themselves not only at the top of the map, but the top of the standings as well. The Oak River Dodgers (4-0), Rivers Comets (4-0), and the Hamiota Red Sox (3-2) find themselves 1-2-3 respectively in the SWBL standings as of Tuesday morning. The three teams haven't lost to anyone else in the league, with Hamiota's only defeats coming at the hands of the Dodgers and Comets.
The Reston Rockets (4th, 2-1) may have something to say about that, as they actually hold a better winning percentage than the Red Sox. Led by Nolan Jago's league leading .800 AVG (min. 5 PA) and 6 runs scored, the Rockets have got off to a hot start. They will get a chance to prove they belong this week, with games against both undefeated teams in the next 8 days.
