"Positive Energy"

Thank You!
Thank you for another great summer at Stampede Basketball Camp.  Our staff wants to thank all the parents and campers for making our summer full of fun in the gyms.  A special thanks to Taylor High School, Nottingham Elementary and Memorial Parkway Junior High for allowing us to use your gyms.  It was a great summer.  See everyone next summer!

About the Director:
Camp Director Matthew Brayton really believes in carrying yourself with positive energy and being an energy giver, not an energy drainer.  Before you can become a great basketball player, you must be mentally tough, coachable and a great teammate.  Sports does not define who you are, winning and losing doesnt define who you are, your character defines who you are as a person.  Be someone that everyone wants to be around because of how you make other people around you feel.

Coach Brayton has worked and directed basketball camps at colleges and high schools all across Texas. He is currently the head men’s basketball coach Taylor High School in Katy.

Camp Philosophy:

  • To establish a fun, positive, encouraging, and competitive atmosphere where your child will improve his or her basketball skills and participate in a competitive form of play.
  • Summer is a great time to improve your skills, further your basketball knowledge and compete in team play.  Together, we build character, promote sportsmanship, positive attitudes, and focus on high quality fundamental basketball.
  • “Our staff takes a personal interest in each camper to help them improve their game, reach their goals, and enjoy their time with us.  Each camper will leave with the knowledge it takes to continuously improve their game.    - Coach Brayton
