SMBA VISION, MISSION, AND VALUE STATEMENTS

Vision Statement
To provide opportunities through baseball for all children in our community to develop skills, build friendships and grow as citizens through competition, fair play and fun.

Mission Statement
SMBA is committed to provide a safe, respectful, affordable and fun baseball experience for the children, parents, coaches, officials and executive of our organization. We shall work cooperatively with our community, league partners and governing bodies to provide a positive experience for all.

Values

1. At all times the best welfare of the child shall guide the decisions of our executive and our coaches.

2. Our programs and leadership shall promote fair play for all.

3. By our words and actions, our executive and coaches shall lead by example to promote respect for each other, our players, opponents, parents and game officials.

4. All children shall be given equal opportunities in practice and games to develop as players, team mates and citizens that we will be proud to have represent our community.

5. The physical and mental well being of our children shall be protected at all times. Violence, bullying, profanity, derogatory comments, ridicule or any other behavior that conflicts with SMBA values will not be tolerated.

6. Baseball is a game, it should be FUN. We shall seek opportunities promote FUN FOR ALL!
