It was a great season of ball for Saskota in 2018. The Oxbow Chiefs finished top of the league in regular season with a 17-1-0 record. The Jack Harbourne Memorial Tourney could not of had better weather for baseball, and the teams really put on a show. After a two pool round robin, four teams emerged on top; the Redvers A's, Oxbow Chiefs, Carlyle Cardinals and Estevan Tap House Wolves.
After a close battle with Estevan, the A's were knocked out in the semi-finals
(game score 3-1).
The Chiefs carried on their strong offence and came out on top of the Cardinals
(game score 5-3).
The final game was a nail biting campaign with big hits and tight defence. The Estevan Tap House Wolves took a second straight Harbourne title with a 3-1 win over the Oxbow Chiefs.
The Saskota teams are going to get a short rest before heading to Sask Provincial Tourneys August 10th-12th.
