Posted July 11, 2016
On Sunday afternoon, the Bantam AA Royals won their 26th game of the regular season. In doing so, they clinched the league title with three games remaining on their schedule.
The Royals have dominated in all facets of the game this season, leading the league in both runs per game (10.3) and runs against per game (2.6). They have lost only three games all season, and have received strong contributions from every member of the roster. Wtih a deep pitching staff and an offence that can beat you in numerous ways, the Royals look poised to succeed at the upcoming BC Minor Provincial Championships in Burnaby as well as the Baseball BC Provincials which they will host over the August Long Weekend.
The team will complete it's regular season schedule with games on three consecutive days this week, before traveling to Rutland to participate in the Valley of Champions tournament this weekend.
