13s finish 3rd at Singing River Tournament

Tennessee River Pearls traveled south to Muscle Shoals, AL to participate in the Singing River Tournament. The 13s came away with a third place finish in the tournament. In pool play, the 13s came away with a 2nd place seed. In bracket play, the Pearls faced an Alabama team that has no set losses for the day in pool play. The Pearls unfortunately lost the match but battled in three sets with their opponent, 24-26, 26-24, 12-15.

The 18s for the club were not as fortunate as the 13s, but they are definately playing some competitive volleyball. The 18U team is very young with only 2 18 year-olds on the team. These young ladies battle hard with the teams they have been facing, and always seem to come away with smiles and more confidence.

Both teams will be traveling to Murfreesboro Saturday, March 5 to play in the Spikaroo Tournament.
