Thanks so much

Thanks to all the thoses who helped behind the scenes at Nelson Park Softball Association final day for Tball, 5 pitch, Junior season.  Without these volunteers we would not be able to run the day ourselves.  A big Thanks go out to  Shannon Labonte, she runs our concession stand all year long and her volunteers Johnny Fraser, Emma  Gould, Treena Semple.  Thanks goes out to our Umpire in Chief, Gary Davis who is always there for questions and answer to clarifying rules and or calls. He also makes sure that each game has the approrpiate umpires. .  Thanks goes out to Calvin Gould who was available all day to set up the diamonds and rake them and get ready for the next game.  Thank goes out to Jason Hamacher who represented the London Optimist Sponsor and was supporting us throughout the day with trophie set up and lunch set up! Thanks Jason! Thanks to Darlene Stastny who was there to support us with lunch and trophies .  Thanks to Sandi Parsons and Leslie Stephenson for the behind the scenes work with ordering the trophies.  Thanks to Darren Gould for being our MC for the day and always making sure things are run smoothly!     

Parents, a big thank you to you for being there to support your child daily as they were learning the sport. As they struggle through to get the technique it's hard to watch from the sidelines sometimes, you words of encouragement seemed to help because I have seen huge growth in our players.   A big thanks goes out to our Coaches. Nelson Park would not be able to run the games and practices without you.  Thanks for all that you do for Nelson Park! 

 The 2000.00 draw took place during our Awards yesterday. We are unable to release the name until we have notified the winner.  

The Coach of the Year award goes out to  Andre Lavalliere ( Coach of the Bantam Girls) 

Volunteer of the year award goes out to Johnny Fraser  - Concession stand Volunteer 

 Parents: I want you to be aware that our Board of Directors spends countless hours trying to make sure we have a season each and every year. Many times they are not recognized behind the scenes.  A big shout out goes to all of them!
