Welcome to the site of the Miller County Pirates! This site is dedicated to the football program of Miller County High School, Colquitt, GA , under the guidance of Principal David Kirkland and Head Coach Brent Miller.  The Pirates play in Region 1-A.

Dear Pirate Fans:

Welcome to the upcoming 2016 football season at M.C.H.S.  We greatly appreciate your support for our program.  I am very excited about this group of young men and the upcoming season as we have around 50 players.  This years team has been working hard in the weightroom and on the field in the offseason.  The team has made tremendous gains in the weightroom after an unbelievable turnaround last year going from 2-8 in 2014 to playing for the Region Championship.   We are trying to instill in our young men the tools that it takes to be a CHAMPION....Teamwork, Character, Work Ethic, Attitude, and Goal Setting.  I feel if we can use the game of football to teach these traits that not only will we be successful in winning football games, we will be successful in preparing these young men for the game of life!  Our players and coaches are working hard to to make this program the best it can be so that we are able to put a team on the field that will make Miller County High School and our community proud. I want our program to pride itself on developing quality student-athletes both on the gridiron and in the classroom. The future of Miller County High School Football looks very bright!  We greatly appreciate your support for our football program.
