Lady Pirate Pre-Season Workouts

Hello Varsity Girls Basketball Players,

 

                  Basketball season is almost here and so now it’s time to get started with pre-season workouts. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Miller County Lady Pirate Basketball Team then I encourage you to come out for pre-season workouts. They will help you prepare for try-outs as well as the season. These workouts will consist of two types of workouts which will be listed below. NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL ON FILE TO PARTICIPATE IN PRE-SEASON WORKOUTS. IF YOU ARE IN SEASON WITH ANOTHER SPORT SUCH AS SOFTBALL, DO NOT COME OUT FOR PRE – SEASON WORKOUTS UNTIL YOUR CURRENT SPORT HAS ENDED.

 

(A) Group Workouts – These dates and times will be listed on the calendar that’s attached to this flyer and the website. They will be geared toward conditioning and weight training and there will be no basketball used or involved in these workouts. These workouts will be full group workouts for those interested in playing varsity girls basketball. IMPORTANT NOTE: NO NEED TO SIGN UP FOR THESE WORKOUTS, JUST SHOW UP. BE PREPARED TO WORK.

(B) Paired Workouts – I will list the hours available for paired workouts between now and when regular practice starts. They will be attached to this flyer and will also be on the website. Look at the calendar and then come by and sign up. You will have to come by my classroom in the morning or when you can do so with permission and sign up two per hour. A sheet will be placed on my door. These workouts will include a basketball and will focus on fundamentals. IMPORTANT NOTE: ONLY TWO PLAYERS PER HOUR AND NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE.
