Stallions down Royals
Posted June 8, 2017
We travelled to Saskatoon on Tuesday and took on the Stallions for the second time this year. Like the first game we came up short. Colin Bauml started and threw three strong innings for us, before giving way to Thomas Lessmeister, who threw the final four. We lost by a score of 7-3. Once again only three of their runs were earned, as three errors hurt us. The bats were big to start as we belted out six hits in the first two innings. However, their pitcher settled in and shur us down the rest of the way. We had ten hits total with Adam Gerwing and Luke Strueby leading the way with two a piece. Next action is next Tuesday at 6:30 at Cairns when we take on the Diggers.
