Royals, Outlaws split
Posted July 13, 2015
The Royals took on the Saskatoon Outlaws on Sunday in Marysburg. The first game saw it go into extra innings which saw the Outlaws win by a score of 6-4. Dean Jaeb threw 7 and 1/3 innings and Matthew Strueby threw the final 2/3 of an inning. They both pitched well and the defense did not make an error. The bats let the Royals down again, however, as they only had five hits. Braden Bauml hit a two run homerun to lead the offense.
The second game saw the Royals bounce back with a win by a score of 12-2. Mathew Strueby threw a complete game giving up only 4 hits. The defense was good again making only one error. Braden Bauml lead the way with a pair of homeruns in the win to give him three...yes three on the day.
Next action for the Royals is tomorrow in Saskatoon at 9pm against the Dodgers.
