Royals defeat Dodgers
Posted August 1, 2014
In what is always the hardest game of the year to play (first game after provincials) the Royals took on the Dodgers and defeated them 4-2 in ten innings. Brent Puetz threw five innings and Paul Strueby also threw five to get the win. The bats were quiet with only six hits, but the pitching kept the game close. The next action for the Royals is on August 13th when they finish the regular season with a double dip in Saskatoon against the Diggers and Guns.
