Ridge Meadows Minor Baseball Association is Hiring for the position of 

Head Coach, Bantam AAA Royals 

Job type: Contract Position 

Schedule: Weekday evenings and weekend days as required, with tournament travel. Some flexibility for  practice days and times. A commitment to working evenings and weekends and traveling to multiple  locations throughout the Lower Mainland is required. 

Term: September 2021, to August 2022 with possibility of yearly renewal. 

What We Offer: The opportunity to work with highly motivated baseball players competing in the BC Minor  Baseball Association League (“BCMBA”), in the most competitive level of this division. Our mission is to  prepare our players to compete at the next level of the game. We are looking for a motivating and  competitive coach to work with our up-and-coming talent, in partnership with our Midget level coaching staff  to create a successful competitive program. Our Bantam players have the drive to be the best they can be  and have a proven track record with the 2021 Bantam AA Provincial Championship title.  

The Role: Our head coach will have experience in delivering a high-performance baseball training program,  the ability to work with high-school aged athletes, the organisation to develop and execute relevant training  plans and the dedication to lead their players to success through mutual respect. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work in partnership with our Bantam competitive players, and coaches during Fall Ball (Sep-Oct) • Provide reliable leadership and development during the Winter Training season (Nov-Feb) in our new 7100  sqft Indoor Facility.  

• Be committed to the success of the team during the regular season (Mar-July) through their development  in practices, games, and tournaments. 

To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need: 

• Coaching experience at the high school level. 

• The ability to lead, motivate and inspire student-athletes. 

• Good understanding of the BCMBA and its rules (or the willingness to learn this) 

• Willingness to grow and improve as a baseball coach and work with out Midget level coaching staff to  create program continuity 

• NCCP Coach Certifications and CRC is required (we will support and reimburse these) • Strong communication, motivational, and organizational skills. 

• Strong knowledge of baseball specific training, tactics, and technical skills development. • Ability to coach during evenings and attend games (home & away) on weekends, and tournaments. • Must be able to represent Ridge Meadows in a way that is in line with our values as an association 

Compensation: Monthly salary and travel expenses
