Hultgren and Sweeter combine for shutout in win over Gamecocks

- Lennox Alpacas defeated Humboldt/Hartford Gamecocks 12-0 on Thursday, June 11 as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Drew Sweeter induced a groundout to finish off the game.
- The Alpacas fired up the offense in the first inning. Lennox scored one run when Reece Ragatz singled.
- Lennox tallied four runs in the second inning. The rally was led by a single by Brock Anderson and a home run by Ray Williams.
- Carver Hultgren was the winning pitcher for Lennox Alpacas. He allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings while striking out seven. Sweeter threw five innings in relief out of the bullpen. and sturck out 10.
- Lennox Alpacas Class B Amateur totaled 14 hits in the game. Chris Kroupenske, Sweeter, Anderson, Jake Byrne, and Ragatz each racked up multiple hits for Lennox. Kroupenske went 3-for-3 at the plate.
