Hector loses in the first round of the playoffs to GFW
Posted July 24, 2012
The Hector Legion dropped the first game of the Legion playoffs on Thursday night. The score was 8-0, but anyone who was at the game could see the frustration of the Hector hitters. Lineout after lineout, the Hector Legion couldn’t catch a break. Hector hit the ball well, but only managed one hit. Dylan Kalenberg got the only Hector hit of the game.
GFW put the ball in play and ended up scoring 3 runs in the first and three in the 3rd off of well-placed hits. Hector starting pitcher Mason Clark pitched well, keeping the hitters off balance. But he allowed 6 earned runs over 6 innings.
