Bantam AA Chuckers

Welcome to the home of the Bantam AA Richmond Chuckers.  As part of RCBA’s initiative to place a greater emphasis on player development and to provide more opportunities for players wishing to play in a “rep” program, the AA team is now directly affiliated with the long-running Chuckers Bantam AAA program.

The goal of this two-team 15U Bantam rep approach is to provide a more focused product, and wider developmental reach. Establishing and maintaining a direct relationship between AAA and AA will help first-year players potentially graduate to the AAA program as second-year players. In addition a more performance-oriented AA program will provide a greater developmental platform for second-year players that will aid in their transition from Bantam AA to potentially Midget AAA or Junior Premier.

We intend to run joint practices both pre-season and throughout the season when schedules permit. We will introduce consistent systems play and approach, so first-year AA players will find less barrier to entry into AAA as second-year players, and second-year players will receive similar developmental opportunities that will help them move on to higher levels of play the following season.
