Stampede, Kelowna, Guns, Giants, Dukes, Canadians.

1 game short of first place sees the DBacks take on the Guns in the first round of the playoffs. Below is a quick summary of the past 10 games mixed with some stampede shenanigans....

Highlights:

  • [Stampede Party] Base-Pong is awesome. 
  • [Stampede] No one died over stampede - Coop is going to be a daddy.
  • [Kelowna] Smitty throws 2.5 games in Kelowna with an era of 0.84 (17 innings over 3 games).
  • [Kelowna] Zanutto doesn't know where 3rd base is (on and off the field).
  • [Guns] Zanutto brings his Dad out to play second who promptly blows his achillies (yiiikkesss)
  • [Guns] Jon Wilmot gets a few hits including a walk off (....error) botton of 9! 
  • [Riggers] Trask throws 3 pitches giving up 4 runs (including a 3 run shot)
  • [Riggers] Gerwing hits a bomb and joins Gayef at the top of the mountain.
  • [Riggers] ​Wong likes Singles Moms.
  • [Giants] Gayef doesn't strike out 10 but still scrapes out a win. 
  • [Dukes] ​Wong likes Girls in walking boots.
  • [Dukes] Danny Payne gave a pitching performance of a lifetime.......
  • [Dukes] Tony Wyllie gives up a bomb.
  • [Guns] Trask gives up another bomb.
  • [Canadians] JB kills a monkey... and then joins Gerwing and Gayef on the mountain top. 
  • [Canadians] Second base is officially named "Pat Shippit's Nemesis" (on and off the field).
  • [Canadians] Needed a coloring book to keep score (22 runs in 4 innings).
  • [Beer Fines] Axel and Kraus forget bats (Case-O-Beer(s))
  • [Beer Fines] Danny Payne wears Jersey into bar (Case-O-Beer)
  • [Beer Fines] While pitching Trask calls off first base man (pop fly) and drops it. Next game Trask hits popup to pitcher and walks of field - pitcher drops it - trask is thrown out at first. (Case-O-Beer x2)
