| Game Notes: The Rockets came out strong against an up and coming 3A rival squad from Delisle. This marked the first time that the Rockets were forced to work against a full court press and it showed in the early stages as it took some time for the Rockets to feel comfortable with it. That being said, the Rockets were able to open up 16/18 point leads only to let the Rebels back into the game. Alexa had an excellent first half scoring 18, but it came at a price as she picked up her fourth foul just before half time and before the coach could get her off of the floor. This created a problem in the third quarter as the team was forced to keep Alexa off the court for the entire third quarter. This prevented the team from having a leader on the floor against the press and their main scoring threat. Kaitlin was asked to step into Alexa's spot and although she didn't get many shots in, she was calm, cool and collected against the press and helped to stop the bleeding. Kaitlin was able to stay out there for the entire third quarter which earned her some valuable minutes. Alexa picked up where she left off when she entered the fourth quarter scoring five, but then she picked up her fifth and her game was done. With Alexa off the floor, someone needed to step up and Kacey (with outside shots), Megan (with drives to the hoop) and Natasha (with big boards) all kept the surging Rebels at bay to seal the victory.
