Welcome to the Home of The University of South Dakota Club Baseball Team

The Coyote Club Baseball team has been rested up from the summer break and ready to start the fall 2018 season. They started the fall with a two day tryout and added 9 freshman, 1 sophomore, and a graduate transfer student.  This is a roster full of seniors and freshman; lots of excellent players going out, as well as a lot of new guys starting their club careers. This spring will mark the end of 9 of USD's seniors' club baseball careers, and we will be sad to see them go. The Yotes look to give these players a season to remember as they compete for a conference playoff berth. USD plays in the Mid-America North Conference of the NCBA. The Yotes look to begin the season a much improved team from previous years. The Yotes return most all starters and have made some key additions to this years squad, including a large amount of pitching tallent. This season the Yotes play three key home series' in conference play (one this fall) and will have to travel for the other two series in the Mid-America North. A rivalry is renewed this year as South Dakota State makes the jump from NCBA Division II into the Mid-America North. USD looks to be a strong competitor in the North after finishing a disappointing 2-10 the previous season.
