What a final day @ Ridge Meadows Spring Showdown

The Thunder had lots of ups and downs in the tournament coming into the final day... but nothing prepared the players, coaches or parents for the semi-final matchup against Victoria Eagles JPBL... going into the top of the 7th inning Victoria was hanging onto a 1 run lead... with 2 outs and a 2:2 count the Thunder managed to craft the tying run.. going into the 8th inning the Thunder finally figured out their pitcher and knocked home 3 additional runs to win the game 5:2..
The final was a completely different affair with NorthShore Junior Twins jumping on the board quickly and never looked back.. consolation runs from Eathan New, Jordan Turnbull and Josh Wright was all the Thunder could muster against a very good Twins roster.

Next up for the Thunder another trip to Hammond, this time for a league game on Wednesday next week against the Ridge Meadows Royals College Prep team..
