Indians Tame Tigers!

In one of the more spirited exhibition games the Tri City, Delta rivalry did not disappoint.  The Indians played solid defence and rode three strong pitching performances from Rae, Sugi, and Seward holding the lethal Tiger offence to 2 runs in their nine inning game at Tsawwassen's Winskill Park.  When the Tigers did get baserunners on they were exterminated quickly as the Tribe threw out 4 tiger baserunners. The Tribe doubled up the Tigers in the hit brigade ratcheting out 10 hits in the contest, including Stanyers 2 run dinger in the 6th inning.  Final score Indians 5 Delta 2.
