Late inning collapse costs Dbacks

CAIRNS, SK - Things were in control. The Saskatoon Dbacks had a 4-2 lead and only three outs to go to preserve the win. Then disaster struck, the Dbacks commited two errors and surrendered 3 runs to lose 5-4 to the visiting Muenster Red Sox. Ryan Olchoway pitched 5 solid innings for the Dbacks allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 10 Ks and 2 BBs. Emmett Graham took the loss pitching 1 1/3 innings allowing 2 runs and 2 unearned runs on 2 hits with 1 K and 1 BB. Justin Tehse finished off the last two hitters allowing no hits and no runs. The Dbacks offence was lead by Nolan Machibroda as he hit a 3 run homer in the first inning.Tyrone Polson, Eric Trakalo and JD Storzynsky each had two hits, while Garrett Krawchuk and Ethan Godson were each 1 for 3.
In their earlier game of the night, the Dbacks fell 4 to 1 to the Cubs. Graham Forrester pitched a solid 6 innings for the Dbacks allowing 4 runs on 11 hits with 1 BB and 2 Ks. JD Storozynsky were both 1 for 2 while Eric Trakalo, Nolan Machibroda and Brayden Tiede were each 1 for 3. Seth Beaulac-Ray had the only RBI for the Dbacks.
