SW Jets Finish 2022 Strong!

The SW Jets made the trip up North to Dauphin on icy roads this past Saturday to take on the Kings in the second meeting of the year. The Jets came out strong with an early marker that put them up 1-0. It was evident early on that there was going to be a lot of hitting as both teams finished their checks. The Jets put two more on the board and Dauphin fired back with one of their own.

In the third period the Jets controlled the play but the King’s goalie stood tall and made some spectacular saves to keep the game relatively close.

In the end the Jets battled their way to a 6-1 victory and a record of 16-2 heading into the holiday break.

The Jets have one practice this week before they take some much needed time off before they get back on the ice. When they come back the Jets will be heading to Winnipeg to take part in the AA Showcase tournament before finishing the last six games of their regular season.
