Wild Night in Moose Jaw

Posted July 19, 2017

The Angels split a pair against the Moose Jaw Regals in their home park of Ross Wells on a hot Thursday night. Noah Kaytor took the mound as the Angels eaked out a 14-13 shoot-out, watching their six-run lead all but evaporate. In Game 2, Boston Wanner got the start and pitched well, as the Angels held the lead for most of the game. Jake Hesselink was brought in with bases loaded in Fifth and could not leave the runners stranded, the Regals pulling within one run of the lead. The Regals scored three in the Sixth to take the lead and the Angels could not answer. Final score 9-7 Regals.
