Early Lead For Whistler Seals Fate For Tri-City Canadians

  • Tri-City Canadians fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-1 loss to Whistler on Saturday. Whistler scored on a single  in the first inning and a home run in the second inning.
  • The Tri-City Canadians struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Whistler, giving up nine runs.
  • Whistler fired up the offense in the first inning, with a single on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
  • Whistler scored three runs in the second inning. Whistler scored its runs on a home run.
  • Sean Gregson toed the rubber for Tri-City Canadians. He allowed 16 hits and nine runs over six innings, striking out six and walking zero.
  • Tri-City Canadians collected eight hits. Adam WilkesTyler Perry, and Anthony Di Tosto each managed multiple hits for Tri-City CanadiansDi TostoPerry, and Wilkes each collected two hits to lead Tri-City Canadians.
  • Whistler scattered 16 hits in the game.
