Welcome to the MCADORY Volleyball Youth Development Program - Director Tammy Richardson (AHSAA Hall of Fame Inductee, most hs wins in the state of Alabama and 5th in the nation, 30+ years of coachinng club with a 3rd and 5th place finish at nationals, 100+ players who have or are playing at all collegiate levels, CAP I certified, charter member of the Alabama Volleyball Coaches Association, coached all-star team to compete in China, 2 state championship titles, 4 runnerup titles, numerous final four and elite eight appearances). Coach Richardson also speaks at conferences/workshops and serves as a clinician at various camps/coaching clinics.  She has trained and worked with some of the top coaches in volleyball - Mary Wise, John Dunning, Jim Iams, Sid Feldman, Debbie Green, Brian Gimmallaro, Nick Cheronis, Cecil Reynaud, Fran Flory Ralston, Scott Luster and Bob Bertucci to name a few.   Coach Richardson believes in empowering the young women she coaches and one way is by having them serve as youth development coaches.  The YD high school coaches have one year experience under their belt and are extremely excited about working with the young girls coming up.

We are excited about the 2018 MVYDP upcoming season.  We have made significant changes which will make the registration, payment process and parent communication much improved.  We look forward to having your child back and hope to see a lot of new young players as well.

MISSION STATEMENT                                                                                                                                                                                                   Founded January, 2017, this program is designed to promote and grow volleyball for future MHS standouts, MHS state championships and collegiate opportunities.  It is, however, our number one goal to instill characteristics that will empower these young girls to be better team players and leaders in life!

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

The McAdory Volleyball Youth Development Program will have its' first parent meeting February 13 6:30pm in the McAdory HS Auditorium.  You CAN go ahead and register your child for the upcoming Spring season on January 31.  New changes but NO change in cost-$150.00 (This $150.00 covers uniform t-shirt, individual picture and team picture as well as 14 practice hours and 12 competition matches.)

All practices will be held at McAdory HIgh School competition gym.  We will have a school bus pick your child up at their respective school and transport them to the high school.  You can then pick them up at the high school at the end of their practice session.

First practice:  February 20 and every Tuesday and Thursday thru April 12.                                                                                     Practice Tournaments:  February 24, March 3, March 10, March 17, off March 24 & 31, April 7, April 14                                     Championship Tournaments April 7 & 14.
